Psychiatric Malpractice

Psychiatric malpractice occurs when a psychiatrist fails to use the same reasonable degree of knowledge and skill used by other psychiatrists. Suicide is the underlying injury which most often leads to psychiatric malpractice lawsuits, but is not the only harm that may be suffered due to psychiatric malpractice.
